The gallery presents the coats of arms and emblems of the Bulgarian administrative units as municipalities, cities, towns, villages, and also some basic information about them (adoption date and designer). The aim is to show not only the current emblems, but the historical ones as well. The local communities and administrative authorities use the term coat of arms in general, but the real armorial bearings are insignificant in number.

Most of the images are redrawn and presented in gif-format by the editor. The sources of other images used are mentioned bellow. The emblems are sorted by districts and municipalities after the current administrative division of the Republic of Bulgaria.

We remind that these are official symbols of the local governments and you can not use them to mark anything with!
